About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Registered Respiratory Therapist for a local contract job in Joplin, Missouri.
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services under the direction of a physician.
- Perform diagnostic testing and interpret results.
- Administer treatments such as nebulizer treatments, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory therapies.
- Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans.
- Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare providers.
Requirements
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Missouri.
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in respiratory therapy.
- Knowledge of respiratory equipment and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
Schedule
Shifts are 12 hours, nights, and the start date is July 29, 2026.
