Local Contract Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $39-43 per hour

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting August 17, 2026, in Mount Clemens, Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services under the supervision of a physician.
• Assess patients' respiratory status and develop treatment plans.
• Administer treatments such as nebulizer treatments, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory interventions.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Michigan.
• Experience in acute care settings preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam.

Skills

• Proficiency in using respiratory equipment and monitoring devices.
• Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights.

Pay
