Local Contract Registered Respiratory Therapist - $59-62 per hour

About the role

American Medical Staffing is seeking a local contract Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week, 36-hour-per-week shift starting immediately.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to patients under the supervision of a physician
• Perform diagnostic testing and interpret results
• Administer treatments such as nebulizer treatments, oxygen therapy, and mechanical ventilation
• Assess patient conditions and document progress
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in Maryland
• Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
• At least one year of relevant experience in a clinical setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Pass a background check
• Pass a drug screening
