Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a local contract nursing job in Florence, Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Provide labor and delivery care under the supervision of a physician.
• Assist with the delivery of babies and monitor the health of both mother and baby.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician.
• Monitor vital signs and provide ongoing patient assessment.
• Prepare the delivery room and assist with postpartum care.

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Experience in labor and delivery preferred.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of obstetric procedures and protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
