Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Radiation Therapist for a local contract job in Leesburg, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Provide radiation therapy services under the supervision of a physician.
• Operate and maintain equipment used in radiation therapy treatments.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and medical guidelines.
• Monitor patients during treatments and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain records as required.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Radiation Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• Experience in radiation therapy preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and medical staff.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field.
• Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• Passing scores on relevant licensing exams.

Skills

• Proficiency with radiation therapy equipment and techniques.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good interpersonal skills for working with patients and colleagues.
