About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN Stepdown for a local contract nursing job in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Responsibilities
- Provide step-down care to patients recovering from acute illnesses or surgeries.
- Assist with daily patient care activities including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing treatments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care plans are implemented.
- Document patient care activities accurately and maintain medical records.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Experience in step-down care preferred but not required.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including 12-hour days.
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited nursing program.
- Basic computer skills.
