Local Contract Physical Therapist - $55-59 per hour

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Physical Therapist for a 11-week assignment starting ASAP in North Bergen, New Jersey.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physician.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Assess patients’ functional abilities and develop exercise programs to improve mobility and strength.
• Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers as needed.

Requirements

• Current license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).

Skills

• Proficiency in using medical software and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Effective time management and organization skills.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
