About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Des Moines, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physician.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Assess patients' physical condition and progress towards goals.
- Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Iowa.
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
- Current CPR certification.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
