Local Contract Physical Therapist - $47-50 per hour

About the role

American Medical Staffing is seeking a local contract Physical Therapist for a Physical Therapy contract assignment in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. The position is expected to start on August 3, 2026, and last for 13 weeks. The schedule is 40 hours per week, with a rotating 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective physical therapy treatments
• Implement and document care plans
• Collaborate with team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations
• Develop personalized treatment plans
• Utilize manual therapy and therapeutic exercises
• Document patient progress using electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Requirements

• Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license
• 3 months of outpatient (OP) experience or 1 year of PT experience in other settings post-clinicals
• Willingness to complete three HealthStream Modules prior to starting; agency reimbursed upon proof of completion and at least one shift worked
• Willingness to work at least 2 evenings per week until 7:30pm
