Local Contract PACU Registered Nurse - $49-58 per hour

Assignment Details

• Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care
• Discipline: RN
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours per week: 36 hours
• Shift: 12 hours, nights
• Employment Type: Local Contract

Responsibilities & Unit Information

• Provide pre- and post-bedside surgical care on the unit.
• Work on a unit with patients who have had surgery (Surgical/Urology/Thoracic).
• Manage multiple levels of care including adult inpatient acute, telemetry, and intermediate care (IMC) with continuous vital sign and some advanced monitoring.
• Float as needed to areas of like skill set (all of 11 West; IMC and MS Level).

Requirements

• Current RN License
• Experience: 2 years current nursing experience
• Dysrhythmia management
• Certifications: BLS
• Unit experience: IMC/PCU experience required
• Preferred: EPIC experience; 1-2 travel assignments; ACLS
• Note: Please clarify on your resume if you list the unit as a PCU—note the type of patients; are they surgical?
