Local Contract PACU Registered Nurse - $36-43 per hour

About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a local contract nursing job in Louisville, Kentucky.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care services under the supervision of a licensed practitioner.
• Assist with the transition of patients from anesthesia to recovery.
• Monitor vital signs and administer medications as necessary.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Experience in PACU preferred but not required.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an approved nursing program.
• At least one year of relevant nursing experience.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of post-anesthesia care protocols.
• Proficiency in medical terminology.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
