About the role
We are seeking a local contract nurse RN for a PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) position in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the care of patients immediately following anesthesia
- Monitor vital signs and administer medications as necessary
- Prepare and assist with post-anesthesia procedures
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Indiana
- Experience in PACU preferred
- Current BLS certification
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in computer systems and documentation software
