About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Mayfield Heights, Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Operating Room under the supervision of an Anesthesiologist and Surgeon.
- Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care.
- Prepare operating rooms for procedures and ensure proper sterilization techniques are followed.
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures.
- Manage fluid and medication administration, and assist with surgical instruments and equipment.
- Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Experience in OR setting preferred.
- Knowledge of surgical procedures and anesthesia management.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Completion of an approved Basic Life Support (BLS) course.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating room equipment and supplies.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.

Pay
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
