About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Elko, Nevada.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Operating Room under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons.
- Assist with surgical procedures, monitor patient vital signs, and ensure sterile technique.
- Prepare operating rooms for surgeries, set up equipment, and assist with patient transport.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Experience in OR setting preferred.
- Knowledge of surgical techniques and patient care protocols.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
