Local Contract Operating Room RN - $49-58 per hour
About the role
Comprehensive Medical Center in the Finger Lakes area of New York is looking for a OR RN. Candidate needed for 40 hours days per week, for a 13 week contract, 1-12hr call shift per week (overnight or weekend, with a possible extension).
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons.
- Assist in the preparation of operating rooms for surgery.
- Monitor patient vital signs during and after surgery.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and successful outcomes.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Experience in the Operating Room (OR).
- New York State (NY) licensure.
- BLS Certification.
Qualifications
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficient in operating room equipment and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
