About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Nashville, Tennessee.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
- Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care
- Ensure sterile technique and maintain aseptic conditions
- Communicate effectively with surgical teams and patients
- Manage patient flow and assist with equipment setup and maintenance
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing
- Experience in OR setting preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including 12-hour days
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited nursing program
- Current CPR certification
Skills
