Local Contract Oncology Registered Nurse - $38-45 per hour
About the role
A hospital in the Kansas City area is in need of an Oncology RN to work a 13 week travel assignment. The nurse will be working 8 hour days and must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. RN should have radiation oncology experience, BLS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification, will be working with 2 EMR systems- ARIA and Cerner. Must have KS RN or compact license.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Assess patients’ needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Document all patient interactions and treatment in the electronic medical record.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and care plans.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and infection control practices.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas or a compact state.
- Minimum of 2 years of oncology nursing experience.
- BLS certification.
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification.
- Experience with ARIA and Cerner EMR systems.

Pay
Exact pay package may vary based on guaranteed hours, distance being traveled, and customizations available for travelers. An estimated pay package based on bill rate at the time the job was posted is available.
Schedule
The nurse will be working 12 hour shifts, nights.
