About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting ASAP in Zachary, Louisiana.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a local healthcare setting.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Current license to practice occupational therapy in Louisiana.
- Experience in acute care settings preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- ACOTE accredited.
- Passing score on the national certification exam.
Skills
- Excellent clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR).
