Local Contract Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation - $50-54 per hour

About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment starting ASAP in Greenwood, Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physician.
• Assess patients' functional abilities and develop treatment plans to improve their quality of life.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and communicate with referring physicians and other healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state of Indiana.
• Experience working with patients in a hospital or clinic setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
• ACOTE accredited.

Skills

• Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR).
• Knowledge of adaptive equipment and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
