Local Contract Occupational Therapist - Home Health - $62 per hour

About the role

Assured Nursing is seeking a local contract Home Health Occupational Therapist in Dublin, Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in their homes.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Assess patient functional abilities and develop goals accordingly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document progress and communicate with referring physicians and other healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Ohio.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• At least one year of relevant work experience in home health or related field.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel within the designated service area.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with patients and families.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems.

• Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices.
