Local Contract Occupational Therapist, Acute Therapy - $56-60 per hour

Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Occupational Therapist for a 13-week job in Urbana, Illinois starting on July 29, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services in an acute care hospital setting
• Assess patients' functional abilities and develop treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patient outcomes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records

Requirements

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in Illinois
• Experience in acute care settings preferred
• Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• ACOTE accredited
• Current CPR certification
