About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Occupational Therapist for a 13-week duration at 40 hours per week, working 8-hour shifts during the day.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a hospital setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Assess patient functional abilities and develop strategies to improve quality of life.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with other healthcare providers.
Requirements
- Current license to practice occupational therapy in Florida.
- Experience in acute care settings preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- ACOTE accredited.
- Passing score on the national OTAP exam.
Skills
- Excellent clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR).

Pay
