Custom Healthcare Solutions is hiring a Wound Care Nurse Educator for a hospital opportunity in Far Rockaway, NY (Queens).
Responsibilities
- Provide education and training to healthcare professionals on wound care management.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with other healthcare providers.
Requirements
- Active NY RN License
- MSN required
- Three or more years of recent wound care experience
- Educator, staff development, or preceptor experience preferred
- Wound Care Certification (WCC, CWCN, CWON, or equivalent) strongly preferred
- BLS required
