Local Contract Nurse RN - Private Duty - $40-42 per hour

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN for a private-duty role in Hagerstown, Maryland.

About the Role

This school-based position supports students during the 2026-2027 academic year. The role is a local contract with no travel stipend available, and only local candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential support and specialized care to students in educational settings, including direct nursing care and participation in IEP meetings.
• Collaborate with school staff, therapists, and families to tailor services to students' individual needs.
• Provide treatment for students with various communication disorders such as articulation, language, and fluency.
• Conduct speech and language evaluations.
• Write and implement goals and objectives for IEPs.
• Work across a multi-disciplinary team and provide classroom support.
• Work with children in various classroom settings and adapt services based on student population needs.

Requirements

• Valid RN license; willingness to obtain Maryland licensure.
• Preferred: 2 years of experience as a Private Duty Nurse, with school setting experience a plus.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, no weekends, no holidays, no call.
• Hours: 08:00 AM to 3:30 PM (~35 hours/week, based on school bell hours).
• Contract length: 12 weeks.
• Shift: 8 hours per day, 37 hours per week.

Pay

Pay range: $34.00–$43.00 per hour, based on experience.
