Local Contract Nurse RN - PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - $52-54 per hour

About the role

Position: Registered Nurse – Pre-Op / PACU RN
Specialty: Orthopedics (Sports Medicine, Pain Management, Spine, Joints, General Orthopedics, Arthroscopy)
Patient Population: Adults
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
Shifts per Week: 5
Guaranteed Hours: 20 hours/week

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ conditions and prepare them for surgery
• Monitor vital signs and administer medications as needed
• Manage post-anesthesia care and ensure patient recovery
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other healthcare providers
• Document patient care activities and medical history accurately

Requirements

• Active Wisconsin RN License
• Minimum 1 year of Pre-Op and/or PACU RN experience
• BLS Certification
• AACLS Certification
• PACU RN Skills Assessment
• Pre-Op RN Skills Assessment
