About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a local contract nursing job in Toledo, Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for critically ill pediatric patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Monitor patient vitals and report changes to supervising nurses
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Ohio
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in pediatric intensive care preferred
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills

- Proficient in pediatric care protocols
- Knowledgeable in pediatric medication administration

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are 12 hours, nights, and start date is August 10, 2026 with a duration of 13 weeks.
