Local Contract Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $50-52 per hour
VyTalent Solutions is seeking a local contract nurse RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Columbia, South Carolina.
About the Role
This is a local contract nursing opportunity in a hospital setting, with a focus on providing comprehensive care to adult patients in the IMC/IICU unit. The role supports healthcare professionals with opportunities designed to meet today’s workforce needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to adult patients in the IMC/IICU unit, including trauma, medical, surgical, and neurology cases.
- Demonstrate proficiency in cardiac monitoring, telemetry interpretation, and emergency response, including management of dysrhythmias and telemetry.
- Titrate cardiac and vasoactive medications, including ventilator management.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to escalate and transfer patient care as needed.
- Document patient care accurately in EPIC electronic medical records.

$49.65 - $52.13 per hour
Schedule
- 13-week contract
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts: 19:00 - 07:30
