About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Augusta, Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Provide care in the Operating Room setting
- Assist with surgical procedures under the supervision of an RN or MD
- Ensure sterile technique and adherence to infection control protocols
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team
- Prepare operating rooms and equipment for surgery
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and successful outcomes
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of Georgia
- Experience in the Operating Room setting preferred
- Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control practices
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Completion of an approved RN program
