Local Contract Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $49-58 per hour

About the role

We are seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a 13-week assignment in Saint Helena, California. This position offers 40 hours per week, an 8-hour shift, and employment type as Local Contract.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons
• Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care
• Manage sterile field and maintain aseptic technique
• Communicate effectively with surgical teams and patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures

Requirements

• Current RN license in California
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
• Experience in operating room setting preferred
• Knowledge of surgical techniques and protocols
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Qualifications

• Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam
• Current BLS certification
