About the role

The role is for a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room in Charleston, South Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical procedures under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons.
• Assist with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care of patients.
• Ensure sterile technique and maintain aseptic conditions during procedures.
• Communicate effectively with other healthcare team members to ensure patient safety and quality care.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current license to practice as a registered nurse in South Carolina.
• Experience in operating room setting preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
