About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a Long Term Acute Care facility in Atlanta, Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in a progressive care unit setting.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with other healthcare providers.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Experience in progressive care units preferred.
- Knowledge of long-term acute care settings.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- ACLS certification preferred.
