Local Contract Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $61 per hour

About the role

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a local contract nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a local contract nursing job in Wichita, Kansas.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Work 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, nights.
• Adhere to patient ratios of 1:1 for high-risk labor/c-sections, 1:2 for antepartum, PROM, PPROM, PP on mag, PP on mag, 1:3 for PP on mag no baby, and 1:1 for outpatients.
• Utilize various pieces of equipment including Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, Monica Novii telemetry, and CPN(GE) monitor.
• Use EMR system Meditech / CPN.
• Must have at least 1 year of current acute care hospital L&D RN experience, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM-C or AWHONN certification.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital L&D RN experience.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, EFM-C or AWHONN certifications required.
• Self-scheduling available which fosters a supportive staff environment.
• Team nursing approach with strong leadership and a supportive environment.
• Experience with a new OB Hospitalist program since April, offering attending support to the residency program and nurses working triage.
