About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a local contract nursing job in Opelousas, Louisiana.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for neonatal patients in an intensive care setting.
- Assess and document patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Maintain a sterile environment to prevent infections.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Louisiana.
- Experience in neonatal intensive care preferred.
- Knowledge of neonatal care practices and protocols.
