About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Pittsburg, Kansas.
Responsibilities
- Provide care in an ICU setting
- Perform assigned nursing duties under the direction of a physician
- Assess patient needs and develop care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Monitor patient vitals and report changes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Kansas
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in ICU preferred
Qualifications
- Passing score on NCLEX-RN
- Knowledge of ICU protocols and procedures
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
