About the role

Stability Healthcare is seeking a local contract RN for a Med‑Surg position in Peoria, Illinois. The assignment is a 13‑week local contract requiring 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.

In this role you will provide care to medical‑surgical patients, including those admitted directly or after surgery and patients transferred from the ICU who no longer need critical care but still require nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to medical‑surgical patients.
• Manage postoperative patients and those admitted directly to the unit.
• Receive and care for patients transferred from the ICU who require ongoing nursing support.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

Requirements

• Active RN license (Med‑Surg specialty).
• Availability for a 13‑week local contract.
• Ability to work 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.
• Willingness to work in Peoria, Illinois.
