Local Contract Med Surg RN - $62 per hour

About the role

Stability Healthcare is seeking a local contract RN for a Med‑Surg assignment in Peoria, Illinois. The majority of hospitalized patients are admitted to Med‑Surg either directly or after surgery, and patients who have been in critical care (ICU) are transferred to Med‑Surg when they no longer need intensive care but still require nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients admitted to Med‑Surg units.
• Manage post‑surgical patients and those transitioning from ICU to lower acuity care.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Document care accurately and adhere to facility policies and procedures.
