Unit Details
Number of Beds: 10 Labor Beds and 13 postpartum beds and 2 ORs
Number of Staff: Growing rapidly --- usually staff with 4-5 Labor RNs and 2 Postpartum RNs and OB scrub tech. Also have Lactation consultants. Also have Level 2 NICU with 2 RNs 24/7. 24/7 in house OB Hospitalist and 24/7 in house Neonatology provider.
- Day Shift: 4-5 labor RNs/shift; 2 postpartum RNs/shift; scheduler/birth registrar M-F
- Night Shift: Same
- Patient Ratios: Vary, depending stages of labor
- Type of equipment: Labor tubs for midwifery patients; Fetal monitoring system
- EMR: Meditech and CPN
