Local Contract Labor & Delivery RN - $37-44 per hour

About the role

Labor and Delivery RN needed in Salem, Virginia. All candidates must have at least two years of experience and must carry a VA state license. Intermediate AWHONN is required for all candidates and cannot be substituted by the Advanced version.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients during labor and delivery.
• Assist physicians with deliveries as needed.
• Monitor patient vitals and ensure a safe environment for both mother and baby.
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of Virginia.
• Intermediate AWHONN certification.
• Two years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with neonatal care is preferred but not required.

• Knowledge of obstetric procedures and protocols.
• Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.

Pay
