About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Interventional Radiology Technologist for a local contract job in Hagerstown, Maryland.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
- Assist in the preparation of patients for procedures, including positioning and patient education.
- Operate equipment used in interventional radiology procedures, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain records as required.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- Experience in a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
Skills
- Proficiency with medical imaging equipment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
