About the role

Great Hospital in MD is looking for a local contract Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of patients for interventional procedures.
• Operate equipment used in interventional radiology procedures.
• Monitor patient conditions during procedures and report any changes to the physician.
• Prepare and maintain sterile environments as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current license/certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in the state of Maryland.
• Experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Skills

• Proficiency with medical imaging equipment.
• Knowledge of interventional radiology techniques.
• Good physical stamina and dexterity.
