Local Contract Interventional Radiology Technologist - $50-59 per hour

Hospital in Missouri is seeking a Radiology Technician!

Candidates must have 2 recent years of experience. BLS and ARRT required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and equipment setup.
• Operate imaging equipment to capture necessary images during procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and successful outcomes.

Requirements

• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT certification preferred but not required.
• 2 years of recent experience as a Radiology Technician.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Schedule
