About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract Interventional Radiology Technologist for a local contract job in Detroit, Michigan.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and explaining the procedure.
- Operate equipment used in interventional radiology procedures.
- Assist with patient care during and after procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Pass a background check.
- Pass a drug screening.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
