Local Contract Interventional Radiology Technologist - $44-51 per hour

About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a local contract Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week position in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist
• Assist with minimally invasive procedures using fluoroscopy and other imaging modalities
• Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and administering contrast media
• Operate equipment such as ultrasound machines, CT scanners, and X-ray units
• Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records
• Ensure sterile technique and follow infection control protocols
• Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare team members

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist from a recognized organization
• Experience in a related healthcare field preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Passing scores on relevant background checks and drug screenings
