Local Contract Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse - $51-60 per hour

About the role

A hospital in Virginia is looking for an experienced IR nurse for a travel assignment. The right candidate will have two years' experience, and hold an active BLS, ACLS, and VA or compact license.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures under the supervision of a physician
• Assist with diagnostic imaging procedures
• Provide patient care and education
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations

Requirements

• Active RN license in good standing
• Two years' experience in interventional radiology
• Current BLS, ACLS, and VA or compact license

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Proficient in medical terminology and anatomy
• Knowledgeable in interventional radiology techniques
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
