About the role

Stability Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN Intermediate Care for a 13-week contract in Lakewood, Colorado. The position operates as a Tele Step-Down RN (PCU nurse), providing care between general and ICU levels, including cardiac, medical, neuro, surgical step-down, and ER holding settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide intermediate care in a step-down unit environment
• Monitor and manage patients transitioning from critical to general care
• Administer treatments and medications as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and recovery
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records

Requirements

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience, with step-down or PCU experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week
