About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Springfield, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in a progressive care unit setting.
- Perform duties according to the standards of professional nursing practice.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient care coordination.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Experience in progressive care unit preferred.
- Knowledge of progressive care unit procedures and protocols.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Completion of required clinical rotations.
- Passing scores on relevant licensing exams.
Skills
