About the role
A local hospital in Hagerstown, Maryland, is seeking a contract nurse RN for an ICU - Intensive Care Unit position. The role requires 36 hours per week, working 12-hour shifts, and is expected to last for 13 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Provide critical care services to patients requiring intensive monitoring and treatment
- Assess and document patient conditions, adjust treatments as necessary, and communicate with other healthcare providers
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing
- Experience in ICU setting preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
- Passing scores on relevant drug screens
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current CPR certification
