Local Contract ICU RN - $41-48 per hour

About the role

We are seeking a local contract nurse RN for a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) position in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical intensive care to critically ill patients
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as necessary
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and hospital policies

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing
• Experience in MICU preferred
• Ability to work flexible shifts including 12-hour days
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• ACLS certification preferred

Skills

• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR)
