About the role
Southern Maryland hospital in/near Baltimore is looking for a travel nurse to work in their ER.
Travel RN friendly Maryland hospital is flexible with shedules, but needs travel nurse to work specific days with some call.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care to patients as needed.
- Perform diagnostic tests and treatments as directed by physicians.
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to medical staff.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care continuity.
Requirements
- A current RN license in good standing with the state of Maryland or a compact state.
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
- Experience in an acute care setting preferred.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills and ability to handle stressful situations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Knowledge of emergency department protocols and procedures.
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
