About the role
We are seeking a local contract nurse RN for the Emergency Department (ED) in Indianapolis, Indiana. This position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and a duration of 13 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care to patients as needed
- Assess patient conditions and develop treatment plans
- Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing
- Experience in an acute care setting preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights
- Passing scores on relevant drug screens
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology
